After breakfast, continue the drive into the beautiful Kinnaur district. The road follows the mighty Sutlej River and dramatic mountain cliffs.
Reach the picturesque village of Kalpa, famous for its stunning views of the Kinnaur Kailash mountain range.

Today you officially enter the dramatic cold desert region of Spiti Valley.

Today is dedicated to exploring the famous high-altitude villages around Kaza.
Visit the iconic Key Monastery, the largest monastery in Spiti. Continue the drive to Kibber, one of the highest inhabited villages in the region.
Later visit Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office, and Langza, known for its massive Buddha statue and fossil-rich mountains.

🏨 Overnight stay in Kaza

Today is one of the most adventurous drives of the expedition.
Drive through rugged mountain roads toward the famous Kunzum Pass (4551 m), which connects Spiti Valley with Lahaul.
After crossing the pass, head toward the breathtaking Chandratal Lake, also known as the Moon Lake.
Enjoy a magical evening near the lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks.
